Asynchronous USB-to-I2S interface overview
WaveIO card is a high performance USB-to-I2S bridge especially designed for asynchronous audio streaming between any computer equipped with an USB port and virtually any digital audio device or equipment compatible with I2S or SPDIF interfaces. Combined with a suitable music player program, this board will offer bit-perfect playback at any rates from 44.1 kHz up to 192 kHz thanks to proprietary drivers which allow for ASIO, Kernel Streaming and WASAPI operation, bypassing the Windows mixer for sublime audio quality.
Two high-precision oscillators source very accurate clock signals for driving bit-transparent operations whether it’s powered from USB port or using 5Vdc external PSU. The 4-layer PCB with dedicated power and ground planes along with six ultra-low noise linear voltage regulators and high quality capacitor networks maintain the whole system noise at minimum preserving the digital audio signals’ integrity for lowest jitter performance. I2S outputs are galvanically isolated using Giant Magneto-Resistive digital isolators (GMR) avoiding noise propagation to the receiver.

Testimonials
I have received the parcel today, thank you. You have packed as if they were tubes. They look very professionally made, however I haven't opened the antistatic bags. I guess you have carefully tested them [...]
Best regards and thank you again, Csaba
the card arrived and all is well !!!
Sounds great especially from external battery. An improvement over my Musical Fidelity V-Link 192. Many thanks, Noel
I received my shipment on thursday last week. So far everything is perfect. Soundstage is vastly improved and a lot of harshness is gone. Very comfortable to listen to. Right now I only use the isolated coaxial output into my Yulong D18 dac. I'm quite excited to try i2s :)
Regards, Alexander
well I still haven’t gotten to any Hi-Res music, but the 44.1 MHz sounds really great. Best my system has sounded yet. Lots of detail, great tonal character and stage. Not fatiguing. Thanks for all your help!
my card has arrived, thank you very much!
This is a small piece of art! Now I only have to complete the rest :)
Regards, Oliver
The card has been received and tested with no issues at present. Thank you very much for such a high quality product. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
I received WaveIO with very well protected and registered package. I could not believe that you manually assembled this tiny parts with such wonderful soldering skill. Very wonderful job! I will try this good board and if I have I will ask question regarding technical issue. I hope you make great progress in your development that I will look forward to. Many thanks Lucian!
Today I received your WaveIO board in good order. It is already up and running via USB power and the isolated SPDIF output. Sounds already great. Next step will be adding a 5V external power supply and a suitable housing. Thanks for your nice work.
Kind regards, Pieter van H.
the boards arrived last Saturday and were picked up today. Haven't tested them yet but as seen they are nicely built. I am sure they will bring me a lot of enjoyment in the years to come and I thank you for your caring service.
Regards, Jack
I'm more than impressed :) The precision and clarity is amazing. At the moment its just an ESS9023 and my old amp and speakers, so I'm sure I'm not even close to the full potential :-) Thanks for such a great work :-)
Best Regards, Claus
